Chelsea FC Makes Move on Cristiano Ronaldo Transfer , Still undecided.

According to 90min Source , Chelsea has decided against trying to sign Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo this summer.

Following Romelu Lukaku's return to Inter on loan, the London club has been searching for reinforcements for its goal-shy frontline, and Raheem Sterling's arrival was announced on Wednesday as a result of that search.

However, Ronaldo won't be joining the England international at Stamford Bridge as of right now.

Todd Boehly, the new owner, had been drawn in by the prospect of making such a big signing, but insiders have told a source that Chelsea's interest has since waned.

Although he currently has a number of attacking players at his disposal, head coach Thomas Tuchel would prefer a right forward to be prioritized. It has been proposed before.

Chelsea was made aware of the 37-year-potential old's availability earlier this month after the forward requested that Manchester United take into account any reasonable offers that were made for him this summer. The forward made this request out of a desire to compete in the Champions League, win additional awards, and advance personally.

After taking over the club, Boehly already had a meeting with Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes, during which the attacker's name was among many others that were brought up.

The Portugal international still has one year left on his contract, and United has made it clear that they are not looking to sell him. However, A source is aware that if a good offer came up, they wouldn't get in his way.
